SEALING STRUCTURE AROUND POWDER CARRYING ROTARY BODY

PURPOSE:To surely, prevent powder from being leaked outside, especially, both side port edges in the axtial direction of a powder carrying rotating body on the supplying or recovery port of a casing for supplying or recovering the powder on which the powder carring rotating body is applied. CONSTITUTION:In this sealing structure around the powder carrying rotating body 11 sealing a gap between the powder carrying rotating body 11 provided so as to face the port part 2a executing the supplying or recovering, of a casing 2 supplying or recovering the powder, and the port part 2a, the inside edge 62a of a sealing member 62 provided on the port edge 2d of the port part 2a so as to be rubbed on the side peripheries of the powder noncarrying regions Y of both sides of the developer carrying region X of the powder carrying rotary body 11, has a shape so as to gradually reach a powder region from a position apart therefrom, from the upper stream side toward the down stream side in the rotational direction of powder carrying rotating body 11.
