Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce the voltage drop in a device where clutch current is controlled in response to the deviation of clutch current amount calculated in response to the operating condition from the actual clutch current amount by providing a Hall current detector incorporating Hall IC as a current detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A clutch current calculating means 2 inputting travel control information SD and engine control information SE calculates the amount of current of an electromagnetic clutch 4 to output an electromagnetic clutch current command signal in answer to the calculation results. The deviation of the command signal from the current detection signal detected by a current detector 101 is determined by a current deviation detector 4, and based on the deviation signal, an output transistor 11 is controlled on or off through a PWM modulator 15 to control the amount of current of the electromagnetic clutch 4. In this case, the current detector 101 consists of a Hall current detector incorporating Hall IC, and is provided between an output terminal 21 and the collector of a grounded emitter output transistor 12 to detect the amount of current without causing the voltage drop.
