DOCUMENT PREPARING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To quickly prepare a document by providing a function to automatically set the size of a screen display character by the format information of the document when it is updated. A screen display character dot number setting means 8 reads the number of characters on one line from the document information when the document is updated, and judges the number of screen display character dots based on the information, and outputs it to the screen of the output device 9. In other words, when the document is updated, the number of characters on one line is read from the value (document information) of format setting is read in, and the number of dots of the screen display character can be automatically set by the number of characters.
