Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head device with high reliability which can control the position and the protruding quantity of a head fitting window and a magnetic head with good accuracy. CONSTITUTION:To a hole 3b formed at the bottom part of a box-shaped holder 3 having an opening part 3a equivalent to a conventional head fitting window, a magnetic head 1 is inserted and bonded with adhesives. By processing the opening part 3a and the hole 3b with good accuracy, the position relation and the protruding quantity of a head to the window are constantly formed with good accuracy.
