Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce a burden on a CPU in a motor drive control. CONSTITUTION:An up-down counter 1 repeating the count-up operation and count-down operation, an adder 3 for adding a value corresponding to the time for preventing short circuit to the output of said counter, a register 30 for permitting date writing from the outside, and a pulse generating unit 40 is provided. By the operation of this pulse generating unit 40, one pulse of a pair of forward and reverse pulses is generated based on the output of the register unit 30 and the output of the up-down counter 1, another pulse of the pair of forward and reverse pulses is generated based on the output of the adder 3 and the output of the up-down counter 1, and this makes it possible to control the pulse width of both the forward-phase pulse and reverse-phase pulse.
