Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To form an image without any surface luster by a method wherein dyeing resin and light scattering property imparting resin incompatible therewith are mixed in a dyeing layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer recording medium 20 is superimposed on an image-receiving material 10 for thermal transfer, which is heated with a thermal head 30. Sublimate dye contained in a color material layer 22 is sublimated to a dyeing layer 12, or is transferred by diffusion to form an image. Dyeing resin having a dyeing property for the sublimate dye and in addition thereto, light scattering property imparting resin incompatible with the dyeing resin are mixed in a dyeing layer 12 of the image receiving material 10. When the incompatible resin is mixed in the dyeing resin, they become opaque in a solution state. Those two kinds of resins generate micro phase separation, and the dyeing resin forms a continuous phase, a so-called see-island structure. Therefore, incident light is scattered, and surface luster is not developed. Further, since this phase structure is kept after forming, it is maintained without developing the surface luster. |
