Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a tape cassette equipped with a lock member having the small number of parts, high assembly and further, excellent durability. CONSTITUTION:The title cassette is equipped with a case main body part 1, a front cover 7 of a turning opening closing system fitted to the case main body part 1, a lock member 10 to incorporate an elastic material for locking the front cover closed and when the force to resist the above-mentioned elastic material in order to open the above-mentioned front cover 7 is operated to the lock member 10 and the lock member 10 is excessively displaced over the releasing position, a stopper mechanism so that the displacement in the upper and rear directions can be prevented.
