Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To conduct a long time unmanned operation while preventing the adhesion of a chip and a cutting oil to a pallet by forming a clamping device so that a pallet can be mounted from the lower side, and retaining a work piece on the lower surface of the pallet at the time of processing. CONSTITUTION:A pallet 2 is mounted on a pallet mounted part 26 from the upper side so as to retain a work piece 11 on the upper side in a pallet storing device 8, and is installed in a clamping device 3 from the lower side so as to hold the work piece 11 on the lower side in the clamping device 3 of a machine tool 1. The attitude of the pallet 2 is reversed in the pallet storing device 8 and the machine tool 1. Consequently a chip falls from a work piece in cutting work resulting in noncontact with the pallet, and a cutting oil sprayed in processing drops downward from the lower surface of the pallet, therefore the falling of the chip or the cutting oil from the pallet during pallet-carrying is eliminated.
