CLOCK DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable a standard time at a location to be set automatically without bothering a user in a clock device for setting the standard time at that location. CONSTITUTION:The globe is divided into several regions and a longitude of a location of cities which become a base of a standard time at each region is stored in a memory device 5 previously. Based on a position information of a user which is measured by a GPS reception device 2, a judging device 4 determines the region from the position information. When there is a change in position. a longitude of a city which becomes a base of a standard time at the region is selected from longitudes of a location such as a city which becomes a base of the standard time where a district where the user is located is stored in the memory device 5 and then is sent to an arithmetic operation device 6. The arithmetic operation device 6 calculates the standard time from this signal and a position information which is obtained by the GPS reception device 2 and then sends it to a time-setting device 3. The time-setting device 3 receives the standard time obtained by the arithmetic operation device 6 and then sets it to a clock main body 1 again automatically.
