Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide durability for a pile for a long period, to improve performance thereof, and to prevent the occurrence of contamination owing to underground water by a method wherein the part embedded in a ground of a concrete pile is covered with a protection cover, e.g. a titanium alloy or an amorphous alloy. CONSTITUTION:When an existing concrete pile 2 is embedded in acid earth 1, a hole for a foundation pile is previously formed in the acid earth 1 by means of an earth auger. The existing concrete pile 2 is covered with a corrosion proof cover material 3, e.g. a titanium alloy or an amorphous alloy and engaged the hole. When this method is applicable to a cast-in-place concrete pile, a casing 4 is pressed in the acid earth 1 by using a BENOTO machine and soil is excavated by an excavator. A corrosion proof cover material 5 made of titanium in the shape of a cylinder with a bottom is engaged along with the inner wall of the casing 4. A reinforced cage 6 is inserted in the casing 4, concrete 8 is placed through a tremie pipe 7, and the casing 4 is pulled off. This method protects the concrete 8 and improves durability of a pile. |
