Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To realize the speaker equipment for the AV system with excellent sound image localization by specifying an outer size of a diaphragm of the speaker equipment within a reproduction range of a frequency giving a large effect on a sense of sound image localization. CONSTITUTION:Plural low sound frequency speakers are arranged at a symmetrical position with respect to a horizontal and vertical line around a reference point, the outer size of a diaphragm in the horizontal direction is selected to be 0.32mm or over and the outer size of the diaphragm in the vertical direction is selected to be 0.61mm or over. Four woofers 22a, 22b, 22c, 22d are fitted by selecting an interval dH between the woofers 22a, 22c and the woofers 22b, 22d in the horizontal direction to be smaller than the vertical interval, that is, an interval dV between the woofers 22a, 22b and the woofers 22c, 22d in the vertical direction. Then a tweeter in the middle such as a horn speaker 23 is fitted to the center of a cabinet 21. A constant directivity horn speaker whose directive angle is 80 deg. in the horizontal direction and 40 deg. in the vertical direction is adopted for the horn speaker 23. Thus, the speaker equipment for the AV system giving no effect onto a sense of sound image localization is obtained even in a comparatively narrow space.
