WAVELENGTH REGION VARIABLE IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make a wavelength region variable image pickup device capable of varying the image pickup wavelength band and to easily make the device small and light in weight and to make the device suitable for being mounted on an unmanned satellite, etc., since a man is not required to interpose directly in the operation. CONSTITUTION:The light divided by a dichroic mirror 2 is dispersed by spectrofilters 3a, 3b and only the light of specific wavelength is made incident to detectors 4a, 4b. These spectrofilters 3a, 3b are composed of interference film, etc., for instance and the spectral characteristics are varied by the incident angle of light. A driving part 6 performs the driving control of the angles of spectral filters 3a, 3b for the optical axis based on the driving signal given from outside.
