WET TYPE DEVELOPING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the stain of the leading edge of a transfer sheet when a device is operated by removing a developer which transmits the surface of an excess developer removing rotary body and flows toward the bottom part by a liquid cutting member before the liquid reaches the bottom part, when the rotation of the excess developer removing rotary body is stopped. CONSTITUTION:The top end edge of a liquid cutting scraper 43b is brought into contact with a position where movement is carried out from the bottom part of a reverse roller 43 to an opposite part A. When copying is finished and a photosensitive body 1 and the rotations of respective rollers 41, 42, and 43 inside a side developing device 4 are stopped, the developing liquid stagnated between developing electrode rollers 41 and 42 and the photosensitive body 1 transmits the surface of the photosensitive body 1 and drops on the opposite part A. Further, the liquid transmits the surface of the reverse roller 43 and flows toward its bottom part, and is removed from the surface of the reverse roller 43 by the liquid draining scraper 43b before the liquid reaches the bottom part. Then, the liquid passes the through hole 45c of a holder 45b, flows to the bottom part of the side developing device 4, and recovered in a developing tank via a recovering pipe.
