Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain a low-cost accelerometer having reliability and stability. CONSTITUTION: The accelerometer device is mounted in a housing 1, and has an accelerometer unit 12 sealed by a cover by using sealing materials 16.1. The housing and cover are formed of heat insulation plastic material. The base 14.1 of the housing is formed with a recess 14.2. The unit 12 is mounted at its one end 12.1 at the base and extended at the other end 12.2 on the recess of the base. The other end of the base shuts off the thermal stress generated due to the non-conforming at the boundary between the housing and a board by the thermal expansion. The device is fixed at a mounting hole 15. A sleeve 17 made of elastic material such as rubber, polyurethane or styrol foam is mounted on the periphery of the housing to avoid the damage due to dropping impact. An elastic pad 15 is fixed between the board and base with adhesive to further reduce the riskiness of the damage due to the impact.
