Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To provide a tank-venting arrangement that is able to secure such an overpressure as has almost no relation to aging and also a drive method driving a tank vent valve capable of attaining the abovementioned purpose. CONSTITUTION: When an engine is rotated, a pressure differential between the pressure in a tank 10 and the ambient pressure is neasured by a difference pressure sensor 20. In the case where this pressure differential has exceeded the upper threshold value or when there is a minimal symptom showing such a possibility that the tank might be opened, a shutoff valve 13 is opened, whereby the pressure differential is more reduced than the lower threshold value or in the case where there is the symptom showing such a possibility that the tank might be closed, this shutoff valve is closed. With the difference pressure sensor measuring the pressure differential between the pressure in the tank and the ambient pressure used, in the case where at least the engine is rotated, a desired maximum overpressure in the tank in relation to the ambient pressure is securable independently of the extent of the underpressure in that part of the arrangement forward of the shutoff valve. |
