Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To eliminate exclusive document forming software and computer by a method wherein a document file in a first memory medium is converted to a fixed format to be outputted from a printer, the file is outputted to a second memory medium as a printer output file, and a document based on the file is outputted fro the printer. CONSTITUTION:Using a general-purpose document forming softwear 22 on a computer, a document is inputted from a keyboard 21, and a document file is formed and outputted to a floppy disk 23. This file is converted to a fixt format to be outputted from a printer and outputted to a floppy disk 25. This disk is inserted to a floppy disk containing part 31 of a printer 26. By depressing a floppy disk mode switch 32, a mode for outputting the content of the printer output file form the floppy disk 25 is set. The printer output file is displayed on a printer output file display part 36. A document file to be outputted is selected and indicated by an upward printer output file selection part 33 or a downward printer output file selection part 34, thereafter being outputted from the printer on printing paper 27.
