DEVICE FOR TIGHTENING SEGMENT

PURPOSE:To obtain the longitudinal tightening construction of a structure such as a tunnel having a flexible tightening part. CONSTITUTION:Among a plurality of segments tie rods arranged in the connecting direction are subsequently screwed and connected to connect the segments through the tightening construction, and a tie rod insertion hole 1 is provided in the connecting direction of each segment S. Tightening nut keepers 8 and 8' are provided respectively to an opening of the front end side and an opening of the rear end side of the hole, and a tie rod 3 having screws 3a and 3c on both ends thereof is placed into the insertion hole 1 by screwing tightening nuts 4 to the rear ends of them. The tie rod 3 for each segment S is connected through the tightening nuts 4.
