PAPER CONVEYING SYSTEM WHEREIN ALIGNMENT ESTIMATION IS IMPROVED

PURPOSE: To substantially eliminate slip caused between a paper sheet and a photoconductive belt by forming a buckling part on the paper sheet and eliminating relative speed between the photoconductive belt and any part of the paper sheet at the inside of a transfer band. CONSTITUTION: This device is to feed forward the paper sheet 25 through the transfer band 64 so as to be registered with the information to be developed on the surface of a movable member. The paper sheet 25 is fed forward to a position where a held leading edge is at the inside of the transfer band 64 and a held trailing edge is right behind of the transfer band 64 opposed to the forth direction of the movement of the movable member. The held leading edge of the paper sheet 25 is fed forward at a first speed through the transfer band 64, and the held trailing edge of it is fed forward at a second speed which is equal to or faster than the first speed at the inside of an area right behind the transfer band 64, and the buckling part 19 is formed at the held trailing edge of the paper sheet 25 at the inside of the area.
