Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To remove the malodor and oxygen in gas containing a malodorous component, reducible gas and residual oxygen. CONSTITUTION:An oxide solid catalyst contains 70-90wt.% of manganese dioxide (MnO2) and 10-30wt.% of cuppric oxide (CuO) as catalytically active components. By reacting gas containing a malodorous component, reducible gas and residual oxygen with the catalyst, the malodorous component is decomposed by oxidation to be deodorized and residual oxygen is used for the oxidation of the malodorous component and removed by the reaction with the reducible gas component contained in other raw material gas.
