Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To improve image quality and more particularly resolution by incorporating space forming particles for forming projections on a crosslinkable hydrophilic layer which is contained in a toner respective plate into this layer or depositing these particles atop the layer. CONSTITUTION: The toner receptive plate contains a thermoplastic film base A and the crosslinkable hydrophilic layer B thereon. The crosslinkable hydrophilic layer B carries the space forming particles C for forming the projections on or in the layer. The space forming particles C have an average volumetric particle diameter of at least twice the average volumetric particle diameter of electrophotographic toners. Further, the crosslinkable hydrophilic layer B has 2 to 10μm thickness and the space forming particles have the average volumetric particle diameter of 10 to 35μm. The electrostatic charge patterns formed by discharging a uniformly electrostatically charged photoconducor element in compliance with the image are developed by a dry process toner compsn. and the developed image is electrotatically transferred to the toner receptive plate from the photoconductor element acting as a toner image carrying member.
