OPTICAL SWITCH

PURPOSE:To improve the good article rate by joining a first substrate having optical fiber group fixing V grooves and a second substrate having guide grooves, where guide pins are held, to each other. CONSTITUTION:V grooves 3 where end parts of optical fiber groups 2 are fixed are formed at a certain pitch on a first substrate 11, and guide grooves 5 for guide pins 4 are formed on a second substrate 12. The first substrate 11 and the second substrate 12 are joined to each other to constitute a connector 1, and alignment grooves 9 and 10 are formed on joint surfaces of substrates 11 and 12 for the purpose of securing the precision of alignment between them, and a positioning pin 13 is inserted in the space between grooves 9 and 10. Thus, good articles out of worked substrates 11 and 12 are combined to improve the good article rate of the whole of the connector 1.
