METHOD FOR SIZING-ROLLING BAR AND WIRE ROD AND DRIVING POWER TRANSMITTING DEVICE FOR ROLLING MILL

PURPOSE:To enlarge the range of reduction for the rolling that the common drive system sizing-rolling for bar and wire rod can be excecuted only within several % of the reduction of area in points of the stability of the rolling. CONSTITUTION:When the tensile strength of rolled stock between two rolling mills of the upstream side rolling mill and the downstream side rolling mill reaches the tensile strength over than tensile force/average deforming resistance of rolled stock = 0.2, the rolling is made with pushing from the upstream side rolling mill, when the tension of rolled stock reaches the compression force over than compression force/average deforming resistance = 0.1, the stretch rolling is made with the common drive system between both rolling mills. The range of rolling reduction can be executed with the stable rolling without generating the buckling or diameter-slendering of the rolled stock with this invention.
