Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a method of producing a lens for which a form can be easily made, and which has high dimensional accuracy and no internal strain. CONSTITUTION:A pressing force of compressed air and a suction force by vacuum extraction are applied to two transparent and elastic films 4, 18 opposed to each other to deform the films to the shapes of a projected cored form 33 and a recessed cavity form 34, respectively, and under the condition where an ultraviolet curing type liquid resin 35 is cast thereinto, both the forms are combined with each other to make a casting mold 37. While the shape of this casting mold 37 is being recognized by a shape recognizing device 10, the pressing force and the suction force are regulated by a controller so that the casing mold has a predetermined shape, and thereafter, rays from ultraviolet lamps 25 are projected onto the casting mold 37 to cure the ultraviolet curing type liquid resin 35.
