ROTARY ILLUMINATION UNIT

PURPOSE:To simplify and secure the support of a rotary plate to a reflecting mirror and a bulb. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical supported portion 9 provided at the center of a rotary plate 7 is rotatably fitted outside of a cylindrical collar 4 which is standingly provided on a chassis 2 with a flange 5 at the lower end. the upper end of the collar 4 is pressedly fixed to a cylindrical shaft 11 which supports the lower end of a socket 14 supporting a bulb 34 in a detachable manner, and the supported portion 9 of the rotary plate 7 is clampedly supported between the flange 5 of the collar 4 and the lower end of the shaft 11. If a distance from the upper face of the flange 5 of the collar 4 to the upper end of the collar 4, a distance from the lower face of the stopper edge 12 of the shaft 11 to the lower end of the shaft 11 and the length of the supported portion 9 of the rotary plate 7 are accurate, the rotary plate 7 is rotatably supported the collar 4 in such an optimum condition that it is not too tight and too loose.
