DEVICE TO SUPPLY STERILIZATION MEDIUM TO PACKAGE MEANS

PURPOSE: To prevent air bubbles in sterilizing medium from being generated at an apparatus for supplying the sterilizing medium to a packaging means. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for supplying sterilizing medium to a packaging container 26 is comprised of a pump 10 and an atomization nozzle 24. To the nozzle 23 is connected a heating pipe 24 for use in guiding vapour sterilization medium into the packaging container. A flow rate measuring apparatus 21 and a gas-removing apparatus 20 are arranged in order to monitor supplying of the sterilization medium as specified and also to assure a uniform rate of sterilization. The gas-removing apparatus 20 has two regions 48, 49 which are divided by a substantial vertical separating wall 46 composed of filter material. A supplying conduit 51 is opened at a lower part in a first region 48 and then an air bubble flowing-out port 52 is departed from the first region 48. A flowing- out port 53 for the sterilization medium for the atomization nozzle departs from a second region 49.
