Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To detect the shape of rolled stock with a high accuracy and to enhance the flatness. CONSTITUTION:Shape signal 8 that shows potentialized strain from a contact- type shape meter 6 and shape signal 9 that shows actualized strain from a noncontact-type shape meter 7 are expanded in Fourier series with a computing element 10 and also strain is determined by synthesizing. A device 14 for changing deflection curve of working rolls 2, 3 is controlled with a device 13 for controlling deflection curve based on the coefficient data 11 of a cosine term of the primary waveform component of that strain and ON/OFF control of a roll coolant spraying device 16 with a spray controller 15 based on the coefficient data 12 of a cosine term of the secondary waveform component of the above-mentioned strain.
