Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To adapt to automatically fasten a printing plate by improving a format of bringing a lower clamping strip to a printing plate replacing position, giving a clamping force specified to fasten the plate by incorporating an immovable upper clamping strip and a movable lower clamping strip in a high speed clamping device for fastening the plate in a printer. CONSTITUTION: A lower clamping strip 2 is pressed to a clamping position by a spring member 3 having a holding fore for a printing plate 11, and can be brought to a printing plate replacing position against the force by at least one returning member 4, 4', 4".
