Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To measure the distance between the surface of the bobbin diameter of a spool and an ultrasonic wave sensor in high accuracy by emitting an ultrasonic wave beam from a transmitting ultrasonic wave sensor on the surface of the bobbin diameter of the spool, receiving the reflected wave with a receiving ultrasonic wave sensor, and measuring the time until the ultrasonic wave transmitted from the transmitting ultrasonic wave sensor is received. CONSTITUTION:The control means of a bobbin detecting device 6 has a transmitting means 23 which transmits an ultrasonic wave beam 21 from a transmitting ultrasonic wave sensor 19a on the surface of the bobbin diameter of a spool 2 and a receiving means 27 which receives a reflected wave 25 of the ultrasonic wave beam 21 reflected from the surface P of the bobbin diameter through a receiving ultrasonic wave sensor 19b. The time difference until the ultrasonic wave beam 21 transmitted from the transmitting ultrasonic wave sensor 19a is received with the receiving ultrasonic wave sensor 19b is measured with a timer 29 housed in a microprocessor 8. The distance to the surface of the bobbin (d) is computed from the time difference t and the expression d=(sound-speed 331 [m/sed]X1/2X t stored in a ROM 10. |
