The front lower edge of the upper cover 7 is engaged by a hook 8, etc., on the front surface of the lower cover 2. When inspection and maintenance is carried out from the upper surface, the upper cover 7 is sprung up and turned and opened. Further, also the maintenance of the engine 1 from behind is enabled by demounting the larger side of the lower cover 2.
