SPINNING REEL

PURPOSE:To provide a spinning reel capable of readily and effectively dissolving a reeled-up state of a thread by equipping the reel with a common mode- switching knob enabling the choice of whether spinning reeling of the thread is performed or not as well as automatic dissolution from the reeled-up state, etc. CONSTITUTION:An objective reel composed of, e.g. anti-reverse ratchet 32 rotating monolithically with a rotor 8, an anti-reverse nail 34 rotatably supported to the reel body 1 and co-operating with the above-mentioned anti-reverse ratchet 32, an anti-reverse spring 49 energizing the anti-reverse nail 34 in the direction of engagement with the anti-reverse ratchet 32, a mode-switching shaft 35 supported in a state capable of articulatary turning so as to be stopped at respectively prescribed anti-reverse mode position, anti-reverse-dissolution mode position or spinning reeling mode position, a mode-switching knob 36 capable of rotation monolithic with the mode-switching shaft 35, a ratchet- operating unit 35e, a switching member-operating unit 35d and a shaft 42 of an engaging member for reversal rotation, rotatably supported to the rotor 8 and capable of dissolving the thread-reeled up state by turning the mode- switching nob to a chosen position.
