FIRE HYDRANT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To surely open an automatic relief type main valve by connecting a fire extinguishing liquid supply source to a fire extinguishing nozzle received in a nozzle holder through the automatic relief type main valve for regulate water jet pressure to predetermined one, providing a value closing lock means in the automatic relief type main valve and providing a valve closing unlocking means in the nozzle holder. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 35 is received in a nozzle holder 34 provided with a fixed table 303 and nozzle retainer 304. The fixed table 303 is formed with a slot 305 in which a fixed projection 306 of a fire exting uishing nozzle 35 can be inserted. Also a handle 209 is fixed to the fixed table 303. A latch 312 is provided through a support shaft of a movable table 311, and a hair spring is mounted to the support shaft. When the fire extinguishing nozzle 35 is pulled, the latch 312 is pressed to move the projection 306, so that the fire extinguishing nozzle is taken out. A valve closing lock of an automatic relief valve is unlocked by a wire 50 connected to the table 311 to start the discharge of water.
