Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the oxidation of magnetic metallic powder and to improve the stability of magnetic characteristics with lapse of time by subjecting the surface of the magnetic metallic powder to a surface treatment by a triazine thiol deriv. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic layer has the magnetic metallic powder subjected to the surface treatment by the triazine thiol deriv. expressed by formula I and a resin having an epoxy group. In the formula I, R denotes a ternary amine or secondary amine. The triazine thiol deriv. reacts chemically with the magnetic metallic powder and forms the film on the surface of the magnetic metallic powder when the surface of the magnetic metallic powder is treated by the triazine thiol deriv. The oxidation of the magnetic metallic powder is prevented in this way and the stability of the magnetic characteristics with lapse of time is improved.
