Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a device for producing a fused optical coupler, which has several functions (multifunction) necessary for producing the fused optical coupler, and which can monitor an optical power at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:An additional function part 25 for automatically setting optical fibers 1, 2, reinforcing a tapered part 8 after drawing and inspecting the fibers, and a controller 13 for controlling the additional function part are provided, and a transmission network between a drawing controller 12 which is required for an optical monitor at a high speed and an optical monitor part 7 is made independent from other transmission networks.
