Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve a method for heating material to be worked to elevate the efficiency when the material to be worked is bent in a warm state. CONSTITUTION:The material 1 to be worked is energized to heat the material 1 to be worked by resistance heat. The temperature of the material 1 to be worked is detected by a thermocouple 6 and the quantity of electricity is controlled by a controlling power source 7 to obtain an adequate temperature. When the material 1 to be worked arrives at the optimum temperature, the material 1 to be worked is bent by operating a press 3 between dies 4, 5.
