SYSTEM FOR OBTAINING SUPER-HIGH DEFINITION IMAGE

PURPOSE:To obtain a super-high definition image by image-picking up a same object by means of plural sets of cameras and integration-processing plural image information obtained by means of the respective cameras during a same scanning period. CONSTITUTION:The object 1 is image-picked up by the camera A as the left camera and the camera B as the right camera. A solid-state image pickup device such as CCD having a specified number of an image element is utilized in the cameras A and B. Image information obtained by two sets of cameras A and B during the same vertical scanning period is integration-processed in a signal integration image processing part 2. The deviation quantity of a sample point between the plural image signals is obtained at first in the method of the integration processing. Next, the image signal having the unequal interval sample point where the respective image signals are integrated at a position corresponding to deviation quantity. Then, the image signal having the unequal interval sample point is converted into the image signal having the equal interval sample point.
