COLOR PICTURE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the color adjustment CONSTITUTION:This device consists of a YIQ conversion means 9 converting a color picture signal comprising R, G, B signals into a YIQ signal once, a luminance signal adjustment means 10 adjusting the brightness of an output signal of the YIQ conversion means 9, a saturation adjustment means 11a adjusting the saturation of the output signal, a hue angle adjustment means 11b adjusting a hue angle of the output signal of the YIQ conversion means 9, an inverse YIQ conversion means 12 converting the YIQ signal into the R, G, B signal again, a YMC conversion means 4 converting the R, G, B signal outputted from the inverse YIQ conversion means 12 into the YMC signal, and a picture forming device means 5 forming a picture from the picture signal outputted from the YMC conversion means 4. Thus, since the color adjustment is implemented by the brightness, saturation and hue angle in matching with a sense of a human being, the color is adjusted easily to a preferred color, number of times of color adjustment, consumption of toner, waste of paper and color adjustment time are remarkably reduced.
