Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the title composition which has an excellent flame retardation and well-balanced properties, is superb in melt stability in molding, is neither thickened nor gels, has improved moldability (fluidity, prevention of mold staining and mold corrosion, etc.) and further can produce flame-retardant moldings excellent in flame retardation, heat resistance and mechanical strengths by employing, as a flame-retardant assistant, an antimony compound treated with a basic compound and hence reduced in its acidity. CONSTITUTION:A flame-retardant polyester composition comprising a thermoplastic polyester, an organohalogen compound, and an antimony compound treated with a basic compound.
