Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To avoid the interference of control with each other by allowing at first control by a driving force distribution control means when a required running condition is detected and, if such control is insufficient to improve the driving condition of a vehicle, allowing engine output control by an engine output control means. CONSTITUTION:A driving force distribution control means 28 such as a multiplate clutch which can control the distribution of engine output torque to front wheels and rear wheels, a human-initiated engine output adjusting device 102 such as a throttle valve which serves for human-initiated adjustment of engine output, and an engine output control means 101 which can control engine output independently of the output adjusting device 102 are provided. When a required running or driving condition is detected in accordance with information from a vehicle condition detecting means, preset signals are output from a controller 48 to the driving force distribution control means 28 in order to improve the running condition of the vehicle. Also, if the control by the driving force distribution control means 28 is insufficient to improve the running condition of the vehicle, preset control signals are output to the engine output control means 101.
