Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To make it possible to resist pulling-out causing the interruption of continuous operation by preparing a latch allowed to be engaged with a notched part of a recessed cavity adjacent to a card edge connector to hold the connector. CONSTITUTION: The connector assembly is provided with a multicore cable forming the undercut part of each recessed cavity so as to be parallel with a side edge part 91 and extended to the other recessed cavity and connected to conductor strips 94 and a cable end connector 99 engaged with the cable and capable of connecting the cable to a card 90 and the strips 94. The connector assembly is also provided with a pair of latches 100 for grasping and engaging the undercut part of the cavity 95 into which the connector 99 is inserted, applying force to the connector 99 and holding the connector 99 on the card 90.
