HEAT TRANSFER PRINTER

PURPOSE: To largely shorten a printing time by forming guide plates at a suitable interval on a closed loop around an imaging drum, and winding a guide belt around the residual guide drum except a platen drum, thereby providing a light, thin short and small profile and simple power mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A sheet 103 is drawn by a drawing cam. The sheet 103 supplied by upper and lower guide rollers 105, 105' is moved by two guide drums 205, 205', one platen drum 201 and a closed loop Z by a guide plate 206 surrounding it, again approached to the drum 201 by circulating via a U-shaped route on the loop Z, and split images are printed. A full color image is generated by circulation of the loop Z three times, a sheet on which the color image is printed is released from the loop Z via a drawing port 211 of the loop Z during third circulation, and the sheet approached to delivery rollers 302, 302' is delivered to a delivery tray.
