MEMORY CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To discriminate the attribute like the storage capacity or the access speed in real time to perform the control adapted to the attribute by inputting a status signal to a memory control part and outputting a control signal corresponding to the status information from the memory control part to a memory consisting of plural memory chips. CONSTITUTION:In a memory device 4, plural memory chips are mounted on one board and are used. Each memory chip is internally provided with an attribute storage part where status information for memory cell control is fixed, and status information is outputted to a data bus 10 after exchange of memory chips. A memory control part 3 periodically reads in outputted status information to discriminate the state of the memory device in real time and dynamically controls a memory control signal matched to this information.
