Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To require not more than a little cost by quickly performing a separating process of a filter in the filter in the inlet stream of a heating system or air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle for retaining noxious gaseous air components. CONSTITUTION: A filter 2 is constructed from layered discs 4 filled with activated carbon. The discs 4 are separated from one another by intermediate layers 5 consisting of material with good heat-conducting properties. The discs 4 and the intermediate layers 5 are clamped to each other by armatures 7 penetrating in the direction of the central longitudinal axis 6 of a tube 3. The armatures 7, which have a good heat-conducting connection to the intermediate layers 5, can be heated.
