Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the measuring efficiency of the title system by discriminating all instructions whether or not the instructions are branch instructions when a program is read into a memory in an information processor from an external storage device and, when a branch instruction is detected, deciding discriminated bit as a real bit. CONSTITUTION:An information processor 16 reads a program into a program storing memory 9 from an external storage device 1 before running. At the time reading the program, a branch instruction discrimination circuit 14 discriminates whether or not the instructions are branch instructions at every instruction and, when a branch instruction is detected, decides a branch instruction discriminating bit 11 as a real bit. Then, when the program is run, a microprocessor 6 reads an instruction from the memory 9 and a branch instruction discriminating bit reference circuit 4 reads the branch instruction discriminating bit 11 from a program covering rate measurement memory 10. After the execution of the instruction is completed, a branch execution/ nonexecution discrimination circuit 5 discriminates whether the instruction is executed or not and, when the instruction is executed, a writing means 8 decides a branch execution bit 12 as a real bit. When the instruction is not executed, the means 8 decides a branch nonexecution bit 13 as a real bit.
