| Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To provide a warp knitting machine capable of producing newly patterned and sufficiently surface-stable knitted products. CONSTITUTION: This warp knitting machine is provided with a weft magazine arrangement M and having two jacquard guide bars 11, 12. The jacquard guide bars 11, 12 are subject to longitudinal shogging so as to knit a tricot stitch. In substantially each knitting cycle, a portion of the guide needles 13 of the 1st jacquard guide bar 11 is displaced so as to knit a pillar stitch. The selection of the so displaced guide needles is altered within the repeating range of a single pattern. In this case, certain knitting needles 7 remain unlaid by warps of the 1st jacquard guide bar 11. The guide needle 14 of the 2nd jacquard guide bar 12 lays warps around the knitting needle left free by the warps of the 1st jacquard guide bar 11 while laying warps around other needles 7. |
