ROAD SIGN INSTALLING/CORRECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enhance the aligning degree and the efficiency by installing and collecting a hollow conical road signs placed on the rear body of a truck automatically while running by the use of a transport and a separating means, etc. CONSTITUTION:A conveyor 5 is furnished on the rear body 3 of a truck, and stacked road signs (a) are sent onto a transporting element 10 for each group of signs. This transporting element 10 feeds each sign (a) onto a sign receiving means 30, and its receiving member is intruded between bottoms of the two undermost signs (a), and the lower one (a) is dropped. This sign (a) is caught be an arm-shaped sign supporting member furnished at a sign elevating/sinking means 46, and then sunk. A post 6 is rotated in regular direction and then reversed after the sign (a) is held by a sign holding pawl 72, and an elevating/ sinking means furnished at this post 61 is sunk to move the sign (a) to the road surface side. The pawl 72 is opened, and installation is made. At collecting, the existing sign is sensed by a stay 83, and collection is performed through cooperative work of these parts. Thereby signs can be installed neatly while tumbling is prevented, and also the safety and efficiency be enhanced.
