Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To harmonize a material surface with natural environment and to eliminate the unnatural feel of a person viewing the material surface by suppressing the reflectivity and lightness of the material surface. CONSTITUTION:The extreme surface of an Al or Al alloy work is subjected to a surface roughening treatment and is then brought into contact with an aq. soln. contg. molybdenum to form a gray or dark black treated film and to lower the lightness. The aq. soln. preferably contains 1 to 500mg/l molybdenum alone or contains at least one kind among 0.1 to 1.0vol% amines, 0.001 to 0.1% ammonium salt, 1 to 500mg/l Ca, and 1 to 500mg/l Zn and molybdenum. Further, the aq. soln. is brought into contact with the Al or Al alloy work in a state of 1atm. and 80 deg.C or higher pressure and temp.
