Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a transparent resin, well balanced in physical properties such as not only low water absorptivity but also chemical resistance and mechanical strength by carrying out cast polymerization of methyl methacrylate, trifluoroethyl acrylate and a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate. CONSTITUTION:A transparent resin is composed of 95-60 pts.wt. methyl methacrylate, 5-40 pts.wt. trifluoroethyl acrylate and 0.1-1 pt.wt. polyfunctional (meth)acrylate having at least >=2 unsaturated bonds as a crosslinking agent. Thereby, the objective transparent resin well balanced in low water absorptivity, chemical resistance and mechanical strength is obtained.
