Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To adjust the position with high accuracy and in a short time by controlling the position of a solid-state image pick-up sensor based on data resulted from the Fourier transform of the output signal of a moire fringe image generated by an adjustment pattern and the scanning line of the solid- state image pick-up sensor. CONSTITUTION:The moire fringe image generated by the adjustment pattern and the scanning line of a CCD sensor 30 is picked up by the CCD sensor 30. Then, the video signal is Fourie-transformed and the position of the CCD sensor 30 is adjusted by driving a six axes direction of a position adjusting mechanism 20 based on power spectral resulted from the transformation. Thus, the position of the CCD 30 against a three color decomposing prism 43 is adjusted easily and in a short time.
