Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To avoid an exhaust port from clogging by configuring the exhaust port of a valve tappet with a comparatively large cross section with consideration to limit the flow out of oil in a small range. CONSTITUTION: A hole 12 opening into a slide gap limited by the component adjacent to the hole 12 is provided at a specified portion in a wall section, which limits an oil storage chamber 10, that is, the portion slidingly contacting the adjacent component while at least a control cam 6 is abutting on the bottom section 5 of a valve tappet 1 at its basic circular outer peripheral face.
