Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a slider for a magnetic disk whose durability and floating stability are improved while accumulation and adhesive matter are prevented from occurring because of the shape of a negative pressure slider which is used in a magnetic disk device. CONSTITUTION:In the slider for the magnetic disk device provided with at least two rail parts for generating floating force, a groove between the rails is formed to be shallow, and the width of the groove is changed to get wider from an air inflow side to an air outflow side, so that suction force or the floating force is generated in the groove.
